Hi. My name is K Williams and I live in Cumberland County, Kentucky. This is a picture from one of our river float trips, down the Cumberland River. I feel a big presence of the life force when I'm near the River: I love the water, and I feel like it loves me right back. I'm choosing to live out my commitment to the waterways in a variety of ways.

I joined Upper Cumberland Watershed Watch to learn how scientists measure water quality, and volunteer in regular and special events of water sampling for lab analysis.

I've learned about some causes of water pollution, and found out that farming can be a big part of it. I made the decision to modify my own food spending behavior - to be sure that my routine purchases are not the cause of water quality problems here, or anywhere else.

I'm building a web page of maps of our watershed, aiming to make an interesting way for me and others to post local data and pictures or anything else, to help understand our situation of water.

I read about water to learn its magical qualities, such as at
http://www.holisticnetworker.com/messages .

I channel my energies to express my writing arts as a devotional for Life itself, fundamentally expressed in the network of waterways.

As a land-owner, I learn about and modify my own behavior to protect the creek in my own backyard.

And finally I wish to learn to respectfully apply the rule of law to establish best known practices as mainstream routine, in regard to the health of all elements of the Natural World.
